Hello people, and welcome to my blog! It feels a bit strange to write a “hello” post, I’m not sure I’ve read one, but I think it sounds right to do it, you know, just to be polite.

My name is Catherine and I am a geek girl, an iOS and web developer to be more precise. This project has been sitting in my head for years now, and I’m glad it is finally (a)live.

At first, as a web developer, I wanted to put there my useful bits and pieces of code, as you can find it on other tech blogs. Those blogs helped me a lot, and I thought I could maybe help someone else too…That hasn’t changed for me: if I can help someone that’s great, otherwise that’s fine too.

What has changed is actually me. I’m no longer “just” a web developer. Ok, I’m on iOS now, but that’s not what I mean. Thanks to my jobs and projects, I gained experience on entrepreneurship, communication, social media, marketing, user experience. I’m not an expert in all those topics, but I’m not a “Jack of all trades, master of none” either.

I’ve read a lot, experienced a lot, and gathered information, and I think it would be fair to share it with you guys, and it would be more interesting than a “bits of code only” blog. Also, I suppose that writing about something I’m passionate about is more enjoyable than copy-pasting code, and maybe reading too.

Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy reading me and you’ll find something interesting sometimes :)
